NHS Active Staff Challenge
What? Developed with Papertank, the NHS Active Staff Challenge app allows NHS GG&C and Glasgow City Council staff to log their steps and keep up-to-date with the walking challenge’s progress from their iPhone. Users can use the GPS tracker to automatically track their walked distance, view an interactive map of the route along with upcoming milestones, see their team’s progress and their position on the overall leaderboard, and view their own personal activity achievements.
How? The app was built in native Objective-C and uses CoreLocation, MapKit, UI Dynamics animations, particle emitters, live blurs and custom interface components built from the ground up.
