Trivia Night
What? Trivia Night for tvOS allows up to 6 players to compete against each other, using their own iOS devices to answer multiple choice trivia questions.
It’s a completely unique app that launched with the new Apple TV and fits with Apple’s own idea that the future of the TV is apps.
How? Trivia Night uses Bonjour technology to send messages between the Apple TV and up to six iOS devices (iPhones and iPads). The Apple TV acts as the question master, randomly selecting players to choose categories. Scores are shown at the end of each round and also sent to each user’s device.
