Maryhill Trail
What? Commissioned by Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust, this app highlights the history and heritage of the Maryhill area of Glasgow by way of an interactive walking route. You can walk along a historic trail, explore old Maryhill, and find out about the famous stained glass panels now exhibited in the new Burgh Halls.
How? The app uses The Appstillery’s proprietary MakkaMappa mapping technology to turn a custom walking trail map, a 1942 RAF aerial photo and a 110-year old map of glasgow into fully -interactive GPS maps.
